2.46

買肉有五事：一者設見肉完，未斷不應便買；二者人已斷，餘乃應買；三者設見肉少，不得盡買；四者若肉少，不得妄增錢取；五者設肉已盡，不得言當多買。

Buying meat has five matters: 1. If one sees the meat intact and not yet cut up, one should not buy it immediately. 2. Only after others have cut it up and some remains should one buy it. 3. If one sees that the meat is scarce, one must not buy it all. 4. If the meat is scarce, one must not rashly offer more money to take it. 5. If the meat is already exhausted, one must not say that one intends to buy much.
