2.13
A worthy bhikṣu should not keep seven kinds of medicines: First, medicines for fasting from grain; second, medicines for digesting grain; third, emetics and purgatives; fourth, aphrodisiacs; fifth, longevity-elixir medicines; sixth, poisons; seventh, medicines for weapon wounds. If one is not ill, one should not take any medicine at all, nor may one give it to others to take; doing so incurs an offense.
