問：「僧中說法，高座上得凭机捉麈尾不？」答：「不病凭机捉麈尾犯墮。非尾翅者皆得。」

Question: "When preaching the Dharma among the saṅgha upon a high seat, may one lean on an armrest or hold a fly-whisk?" Answer: "Leaning on an armrest or holding a fly-whisk while not ill constitutes an offence of pātayantika. Anything that is not made of tail feathers or plumage is entirely permissible."
