「佛子！六、得大慈悲故。所謂七觀：擇法、念法、精進法、護法、喜法、定法、慧法，是名觀門，入一相故。

"Buddha-son! Sixth is attaining great compassion, that is to say, the seven contemplations: discrimination of dharmas, mindfulness of dharmas, diligence in dharmas, protection of dharmas, joy in dharmas, concentration in dharmas, and wisdom in dharmas. These are called the gates of contemplation, entering into the single mark.
