「佛子！八、隨順自然智。所謂因果，善惡名因、苦樂名果。所由為因、所起為果。由起相待，通為因果故。因果二空無生無滅，皆一合相故。

"Buddha-son! Eighth is wisdom that accords with spontaneity, that is to say, cause and result: good and evil are called causes; suffering and pleasure are called results. That from which things arise is the cause; that which arises is the result. Because they depend on each other as origin and arising, they are collectively cause and result. Cause and result are both empty, without arising and without cessation, because all are of a single composite mark.
