敬首菩薩白佛言：「世尊！從初地至後一地，有果報神變二種法身：一、法性身；二、應化法身。為何色相？為何心相？」

Śraddhāpradāna Bodhisattva said to the Buddha: "World-Honoured One! From the first ground to the final ground, there are two kinds of dharmakāya—of retribution and of supernormal transformation: first, the body of Dharma-nature; second, the dharmakāya of responsive transformation. What are their form-marks? What are their mental marks?"
