爾時敬首菩薩白佛言：「諸佛菩薩大方便平等慧照諸法界，為頓等覺、為漸漸？云何無明藏？與心為一為異？劫量久近復當云何？」

At that time, Śraddhāpradāna Bodhisattva said to the Buddha: "When the great expedient means and equal wisdom of Buddhas and bodhisattvas illuminate all dharmadhātus, is it a sudden and equal enlightenment, or is it gradual? What is the treasury of avidyā? Is it one with or different from the mind? And how long is the measure of kalpas?"
