2.7

「如我不喜死，一切三界二十五有，有形無形，四足多足，乃至蟻子，有命之屬，亦復如是。是故菩薩乃至自喪身命。終不枉奪他命。

'Just as I do not delight in death, so too is it for all those possessing life throughout the three realms and the twenty-five states of existence, whether with form or formless, four-footed or many-footed, down to ants. Therefore, the bodhisattva, even if it costs his own body and life, will never unjustly take the lives of others.
