6.12

「佛陀者，覺，覺了一切法相故。復次，一切眾生長眠三界，佛道眼既開，自覺覺彼，故名為覺。佛於一切法，能一切得一切說。」

"Buddha means 'awakened,' because he awakens to and understands the characteristics of all dharmas. Furthermore, all sentient beings sleep through the long night in the three realms; when the Buddha's eye of the Way opened, he awakened himself and awakened others, therefore he is called 'Awakened.' Regarding all dharmas, the Buddha is able to attain all and explain all."
