2.26

願智者，謂依第四靜慮心，以願為先，引如智起，如願了知，故名願智。

Aspiration-knowledge means that, relying on the mind of the fourth dhyāna, preceded by aspiration, one induces the arising of knowledge corresponding to reality, understanding according to one's wish; hence it is named aspiration-knowledge.
