論曰：凡集一代種種諸論，總有十萬九千部焉。如是諸論總十所攝。云何為十？一者摩迦羅論、二者跋提論、三者鄔舍摩論、四者闍他論、五者筏那提舍論、六者阿部帝論、七者跋摩論、八者呼呵論、九者摩僧那論、十者鍵婆論，是名為十。摩訶衍論，如意論攝。馬鳴菩薩所作之論，其數幾有？幾文幾義？摩訶衍論何所攝耶？頌曰：

The treatise says: Collecting in general the various treatises of an entire generation, there are in total one hundred and nine thousand works. Such treatises are subsumed under ten in total. What are the ten? First, the Makara Treatise; second, the Bhadra Treatise; third, the Uśama Treatise; fourth, the Jātha Treatise; fifth, the Vanadeśa Treatise; sixth, the Abhūti Treatise; seventh, the Varma Treatise; eighth, the Hūha Treatise; ninth, the Mahāsaṃnāha Treatise; tenth, the Garbha Treatise. These are called the ten. The Mahāyāna treatise is subsumed under the Cintāmaṇi Treatise. How many treatises were composed by Aśvaghoṣa Bodhisattva? How many texts and how many meanings? By what is the Mahāyāna treatise subsumed? The verse says:
