1.43

總歸於十四，僧十法四故，
或兼上下故，有多類僧眾。

Altogether taking refuge in fourteen,
because the Saṅgha is ten and the Dharma four;
or because of combining the higher and lower,
there are many classes of the saṅgha assembly.
