3.22

清淨本始覺，從無始已來，
遠離一切染，湛明若虛空。
是故此門中，無能熏染法，
無所熏淨法，唯有自家德。

Pure original and initial awakenings,
From the beginningless past,
Are far removed from all defilements,
Serenely clear like empty space.
Therefore within this approach,
There is no defiling dharma that perfumes,
Nor any pure dharma that is perfumed;
There is only one's own virtue.
