論曰：即是廣說性淨本覺分。此四種大義中各有二義，與彼大義不相捨離。云何為二？一者等空義、二者同鏡義。如本復次覺體相者有四種大義，與虛空等猶如淨鏡故。云何名為如實空鏡？及有二義其相云何？頌曰：
The commentary says: This is the section giving the extensive explanation of inherently pure original awakening. Within each of these four great meanings there are two meanings, which are inseparable from those great meanings. What are the two? First, the meaning of being equal to empty space; second, the meaning of being like a mirror. As the base text says: "Furthermore, the essence and marks of awakening have four great meanings, which are equal to empty space and like a pure mirror." What is called the mirror of true emptiness, and what are the characteristics of its having two meanings? The verse says:
