論曰：根本無明隨緣本覺，各各因緣二義具足，能為三種不相應染正作因緣，是故說言微細生滅之因緣門。具足形相，散說門中其理自明。次重因緣其相云何？頌曰：

The commentary says: Fundamental avidyā and condition-conforming original awakening are each complete in the two meanings of primary cause and secondary condition, and can directly serve as the causes and conditions for the three kinds of non-corresponding defilements; therefore, it is spoken of as the approach of the causes and conditions of subtle arising and ceasing. Their complete characteristics and principles will become clear of themselves in the detailed explanation approach. What are the characteristics of the next tier of causes and conditions?
