釋摩訶衍論 5.23

5.23

譬如以蓮葉，覆一器月輪，
而餘器月輪，終不隱現前。
無明亦如是，覆惑人覺時，
已覺人本覺，終不能隱覆。

Just as by covering the moon in one vessel / with a lotus leaf,
The moons in the remaining vessels / are never hidden from view,
Avidyā is also like this: / when covering the awakening of a deluded person,
The original awakening of an already awakened person / can never be obscured.
