2.73

讚曰：自下第三明所成德。依行入位成此德故。於中有八德，此即第一引生諸德。一是總持門、二是等持門。前此經序菩薩德中已略解訖，由此二種引生諸德故。

The Commentary says: Next is the third [section], explaining the virtues that are accomplished. This is because by relying on practice and entering the stages, one accomplishes these virtues. Within this there are eight virtues; this is the first, which elicits and produces the various virtues. The first is the door of dhāraṇī, and the second is the door of samādhi. These have already been briefly explained earlier among the bodhisattva's virtues in the preface of this sūtra, because all the virtues are elicited and produced by means of these two.
