Commentary: From here down is the second, directly presenting what was expounded. In the previous most supreme dharma gate of the sameness of nature, it was said that because all sentient beings are boundless and so forth, profound Prajñāpāramitā is also boundless. Since wisdom encompasses the five kinds [of wisdom]—real mark, contemplating, textual, and so forth—the Tathāgata of the three bodies is accordingly also boundless. The principle of the real mark, the dharmakāya, is boundless; the wisdom of contemplation, the saṃbhogakāya, is boundless. Relying on these two, the nirmāṇakāya responds to things, manifesting in accord with conditions, and its karmic functions are boundless. "Boundless" means its vast measure is hard to fathom. Every single faculty and mark is boundless, because they are brought about and produced by limitless wholesome roots.
