3.99

讚曰：此四別法。諦謂四諦，緣起有十二，寶謂三寶。食謂四食，謂段、觸、思及與識食。香、味、觸三名為段食。觸謂觸數，第六識俱。思謂思數，即第六俱。識謂識蘊，即唯第八。隨緣說四，攝歸法性。

The Commentary says: These are four specific dharmas. 'Truths' refers to the four truths. Dependent origination has twelve [links]. 'Jewels' refers to the Three Jewels. 'Foods' refers to the four foods, namely material, contact, intention, and consciousness foods. Smell, taste, and tangibility—these three are called material food. Contact refers to the mental factor of contact, which is conjoined with the sixth consciousness. Intention refers to the mental factor of intention, which is also conjoined with the sixth [consciousness]. Consciousness refers to the consciousness aggregate, which is exclusively the eighth. In accordance with conditions, four are spoken of, but they are subsumed into the nature of dharmas.
