述曰，此依世親答第二問也。然標布施者有二義：一者、順在家三福業事，出家六波羅蜜之中，施為先故；二者、體寬通攝六故也。

Commentary: This answers the second question according to Vasubandhu. Now, in designating dāna, there are two meanings: first, conforming to the three meritorious activities of the householder and among the six pāramitās of the renunciant, dāna is foremost; second, its substance is broad and generally subsumes all six.
