1.120

下釋疑中有四，一者、標，二、舉喻，三者、合，四者、勸。上來依世親意釋竟。依無著者，自不住於事已下，明十八住處中第二波羅蜜相應行，六種住處中第二淨心住處也。於中文有二，初、「乃至不於」前，正明淨心住處；次，「不住於相」已下，明於此不堪，為令堪故，顯示不住行施也。

Below, in resolving doubts, there are four parts: first, stating the premise; second, adducing an analogy; third, drawing the comparison; fourth, exhortation. The above has concluded explaining according to Vasubandhu's intention. According to Asaṅga, from "without abiding in things" onwards, it clarifies the second of the eighteen ādhāras, the practice concordant with the pāramitās, and the second of the six kinds of ādhāras, the ādhāra of the purified mind. Within the text there are two parts: first, before "even not in...", it directly clarifies the ādhāra of the purified mind; next, from "not abiding in marks" onwards, it clarifies that one is incapable of this, and in order to make one capable, reveals practicing giving without abiding.
