1.21

─凡上梓者，必借書手，而往往不免脫謬。今余不自揣書之拙，親寫繕完，以授剞劂。雖缺於觀美，庶不致誤人。

—Whenever books are put onto woodblocks, scribes must be employed, and omissions and errors are often unavoidable. Now, disregarding my clumsy hand, I personally copied and perfected the manuscript to hand over to the engravers. Although it may lack visual elegance, I hope it will not lead people astray.
