佛告須菩提：「若善男子、善女人於此經中，乃至受、持四句偈等，為他人說，而此福德勝前福德。」
The Buddha told Subhūti, "If a good son or good daughter from within this sūtra receives and upholds even a four-line verse and preaches it to others, this merit surpasses the previous merit."
