如經可以三十二相等者，第十一為供養給侍如來故，又是第七為離不具足福資糧故。此意云，若欲供養如來求福資糧者，不應以相見，第一義法身故也。

As for the sūtra's passage 'Can [the Tathāgata be seen] by means of the thirty-two marks?': this is the eleventh [distinction], which is for the sake of making offerings to and serving the Tathāgata; it is also the seventh [ādhāra], which is for the sake of eliminating incompleteness in the provisions of merit. The meaning here is: if one wishes to make offerings to the Tathāgata and seek provisions of merit, one should not view him by means of marks, because the ultimate reality is the dharmakāya.
