1.270

無著釋云，自此下有其三文，初、悲苦捨身聞法傷感與世親同；次、「若復有人」下，明發起精進生如義想；三、「我今得聞」下，為令在坐味著懈怠諸菩薩生慚愧故。此為初也。

Asaṅga's commentary states: From here below there are three passages: first, weeping with sorrow upon hearing the Dharma after lamenting the renunciation of suffering bodies, which is identical to Vasubandhu's; next, from 'if, moreover, there is someone' onward, clarifying the arousing of energy and generating the conception conforming to reality; third, from 'now that I have heard' onward, causing the bodhisattvas present in the assembly who crave the taste of indolence to arouse shame and conscience. This is the first.
