第三判本文者，此經始終有其三分：初、文前由致分；次、「爾時，須菩提即從座起」下，發請廣說分；後、「佛說是經已」下，喜悟修行分。前中有二：初、明通由致，次、「爾時，世尊」下，別由致。

Third, regarding the structural division of the root text: this sūtra has three divisions from beginning to end. First, the division of the circumstantial occasion preceding the text. Second, from 'At that time, Subhūti arose from his seat' downward, the division of initiating the request and extensive explanation. Third, from 'After the Buddha had spoken this sūtra' downward, the division of joyful awakening and practice. The first division has two parts: first, clarifying the common circumstantial occasions; second, from 'At that time, the Bhagavat' downward, the particular circumstantial occasions.
