是以疏主受旨，特述三注：曰「玄記」、曰「贊述」、曰「會釋」；而其直就經文為釋者，獨「贊述」為然。然人徒知有此書，而莫之或目也，況能研索之乎？

For this reason, the master of the commentary [Kuiji] received his instructions and specially composed three commentaries: the Xuanji, the Zanshu, and the Huishi. Yet among them, that which directly takes up the sūtra text to explain it is exclusively the Zanshu. Nevertheless, people only know of the existence of this book, but none have laid eyes upon it, let alone been able to investigate and seek into it!
