2.114

無著云，此第三、釋離言義也。謂何故彼法不別說耶？謂諸法之本，理要而復淨，智契而方真，非言詮而可悟也。

Asaṅga says: This is the third [point], explaining the meaning of being beyond words. It asks: Why is that dharma not explained separately? It means the root of all phenomena is essential in principle and pure; only when wisdom accords with it is it true, and it cannot be awakened to through verbal expression.
