2.17

述曰，此第三引初地菩薩得忍辱故名不住心，示不住生心義故也。於中初、總示，次、別示，此初也。

The commentary says: This third [part] explains that because a bodhisattva on the first bhūmi attains patience, this is called the "non-abiding mind," thereby demonstrating the meaning of "giving rise to the mind without abiding." Herein, first there is a general presentation, followed by a specific presentation. This is the first.
