述曰，此第三寄沙喻多也。謂此且舉少分，談實眾生無有邊限，非只如爾許沙也。

The commentary states: This is the third, relying on the sand to illustrate multitude. That is, this merely adduces a small fraction; speaking in truth, sentient beings have no limit, and are not merely as many as that much sand.
