2.56

述曰，世親云，此第二明持誦福圓也。謂由此法為大乘說故，有受、持等者，必獲無上菩提不可思議功德，故於彼生少信者，便勝捨多身命也。

Commentary: Vasubandhu says: this is the second part, clarifying the perfection of the merit of upholding and reciting. It means that, because this Dharma is spoken for the Great Vehicle, those who receive, uphold, and so forth are certain to obtain the inconceivable merit of unexcelled bodhi; therefore, producing even a little faith in it surpasses the renunciation of many bodies and lives.
