2.66

「復次，須菩提！善男子、善女人受、持、讀誦此經，若為人輕賤，是人先世罪業應墮惡道，以今世人輕賤故，先世罪業則為消滅，當得阿耨多羅三藐三菩提。」

"Furthermore, Subhūti, if a good man or good woman receives, upholds, reads, and recites this sūtra, and if they are despised by others, this person has sinful karma from previous lives that ought to cause them to fall into the evil destinies; but because they are despised by others in the present life, the sinful karma from previous lives is extinguished, and they will attain anuttarā samyaksaṃbodhi."
