《俱舍》偈云「四大洲日月，蘇迷盧欲天，梵世各一千，名一小千界。此小千千倍，說名一中千，此千倍大千，皆同一成壞。」七寶者，金、銀、瑠璃、珊瑚、碼碯、赤真珠、頗梨。

The verse of the Abhidharmakośa says: 'The four continents, the sun and moon, / Sumeru, the desire heavens, / And a thousand Brahmā realms each / Are called a small-thousand world. / A thousand times this small thousand / Is spoken of as a medium-thousand; / A thousand times this is a great thousand, / All sharing the same formation and destruction.' The seven jewels are gold, silver, lapis lazuli, coral, agate, red pearl, and crystal.
