二、斷因果俱深無信疑，論云「無住行施因深也，無相見佛果深也，未來惡世必不生信，空說何益？」斷之文四：初約無信以呈疑。

Second, severing the doubt that cause and fruit are both deep so there is no faith. The treatise says: 'Practicing generosity without abiding is a deep cause; seeing the Buddha without marks is a deep fruit. In the future evil age, people certainly will not give rise to faith; what benefit is there in speaking in vain?' The text severing it has four [parts]: first, presenting the doubt in terms of the absence of faith.
