論云「若如來有如是心：『五陰中有眾生可度』者，此是取相過。」無著云：「如來如爾炎而知，是故，若有眾生想則為有我取。」

The treatise says: 'If the Tathāgata had the thought: "Among the five skandhas there are sentient beings to be liberated," this would be the fault of grasping at marks.' Asaṅga says: 'The Tathāgata knows in accord with the cognizable (jñeya); therefore, if there were the idea of a sentient being, that would constitute grasping at a self.'
