九、斷能證無體非因疑。論云：「於證果中無道，云何彼於果為能作因？」○斷之文二：○初、斷疑。

9. Severing the doubt that what can realize lacks substance and is not a cause. The Treatise says: "If within the fruit of realization there is no path, how can it serve as an efficient cause for the fruit?" The text severing this has two parts: first, severing the doubt.
