Asaṅga says: "This shows what kind of person is without discrimination, regarding what phenomena one does not discriminate, and by what skillful means one does not discriminate." This shows that due to superior mind and superior wisdom, within non-discrimination one knows, sees, and resolutely understands. Therein, if wisdom relies on śamatha, it knows; relying on vipaśyanā, it sees. These two rely on samādhi to resolutely understand; because of mastery in samādhi, understanding internal cognitive representations is termed 'resolute understanding'.
