斷二十七疑者。準天親論，從佛答三問畢，便躡跡斷疑，乃至經終二十七段。謂第一求佛行施住相疑，乃至第二十七入寂如何說法疑。

"Severing twenty-seven doubts": According to Vasubandhu's treatise, once the Buddha finishes answering the three questions, he immediately follows their trail to sever doubts, down to the end of the sūtra in twenty-seven sections. That is, the first is the doubt about seeking Buddhahood and practicing giving while abiding in marks, down to the twenty-seventh, the doubt about how the Dharma can be expounded upon entering quiescent extinction.
