即照下。約功用以出體也。照蘊空即是功用，本覺之慧即是出體。《大品》云：「色如聚沫，受如泡幻，想如陽焰，行如芭蕉，識如幻化」，如是觀者名照蘊空。

From 'Namely illuminating...' downward reveals the essence in terms of function. Illuminating the emptiness of the aggregates is the function; the wisdom of original enlightenment is the revelation of essence. The Dapin says: 'Form is like a mass of foam, feeling is like a bubble or illusion, conception is like a mirage, karmic formations are like a plantain tree, consciousness is like an illusory apparition'; contemplating in this way is called illuminating the emptiness of the aggregates.
