顯如者。眾生如隱故沈三界，欲沈三界只要顯如。故云但為除如之外餘皆虛妄。故云唯如為是。論云：「除諸法實相，餘皆魔事。」有云：始從得道乃至涅槃，其中所說無不為如。

Revealing 'suchness' (ru): Because sentient beings' suchness is concealed, they sink into the three realms; wishing to end sinking in the three realms, one only needs to reveal suchness. Therefore it says that merely aside from suchness, all else is false. Hence it is said: 'Only suchness is correct (shi).' A treatise states: 'Aside from the real mark of all dharmas, all else is the work of Māra.' Some say: From first attaining the Way up to nirvāṇa, whatever was preached during that interval was nothing other than suchness.
