As for the commentary's "distinctly revealing" and so forth: What is termed the distinct within the universal—what is held as central varies depending on the sūtra. For instance: the dharma-dhātu in the *Avataṃsaka*, the Single Vehicle in the *Lotus Sūtra*, the inconceivable, tathatā, buddha-nature, etc., in the *Vimalakīrti*. The text has three parts.
