須菩提者。亦云蘇補底，但梵音楚夏耳。善吉下。從末倒標。生時下。據本順釋。《西域記》云：「是東方青龍陀佛，影響釋迦之會，示跡聲聞，發揚空理，十方諸佛法皆爾也。」

On "Subhūti": also rendered as Subhūti (Subuti), the difference being merely dialectal pronunciation in Sanskrit. On "Well-Manifested" (Shanji): designating from the result backward. On "at birth": explaining in order based on the root origin. The Western Regions Record says: "He was the Buddha Cinglongtuo of the east, who cast an echo into the assembly of Śākyamuni, manifesting traces as a hearer to propagate the principle of emptiness; all buddhas of the ten directions are like this."
