莫作是說者。訶勸之辭，豈謂後世一向無信？如佛滅後末法之中有戒定者，能於深義實有信心，信此為實也。
Regarding "Do not speak thus": words of reproof and admonition. How could it mean that later ages will be entirely without faith? If there are those possessed of morality and concentration in the final Dharma age after the Buddha's nirvāṇa, they will be capable of having true faith in the profound meaning, believing this to be real.
