依止者，分別種子為彼現行所依止故，亦可法執分別名為依止，與彼我執所依止故，斯皆不起也。

On 'That which is depended upon': Because the conceptual seeds are that upon which the active manifestations depend; it may also be that the conceptual clinging to phenomena is called 'that which is depended upon', because it is that upon which the clinging to a self depends; none of these arise.
