持說等者。以此四義是萬法之門，若了四義即通萬法，萬法既通豈有菩提而不證哉？
[On the passage] "Upholding and expounding...": because these four meanings are the gate to the ten thousand dharmas, if one understands the four meanings one penetrates the ten thousand dharmas; the ten thousand dharmas being penetrated, how could there be bodhi that is not realized?
