This is a further explanation. When the sūtra speaks of "buddhadharmas," this is existence in terms of conventional truth. "Are not buddhadharmas" is in terms of the primary truth. "Are without the primary, etc." means that within the marks of conventional truth there are differences between delusion and awakening, defilement and purity, ordinary beings and nobles; therefore it is said that buddhadharmas emerge from the sūtra. The principle of ultimate truth is free from the marks of delusion and awakening, defilement and purity, ordinary beings and nobles; hence one cannot speak of the sense of "emerging" regarding buddhadharmas. Therefore the Sutra of Perfect Enlightenment says: "The wondrous mind of perfect awakening of all tathāgatas fundamentally has neither bodhi nor nirvāṇa, nor is there attaining buddhahood or not attaining buddhahood, nor delusional saṃsāra or non-saṃsāra." However, the basic treatise differs from this, so I will not elaborate at length.
