離三昧障者。三昧是定，障即是惑，三昧之障，依主釋也。不同煩惱即障，持業釋故。然此二障，離各有由。離煩惱障得羅漢故，離三昧障得無諍故。

"Free from the obstacle to samādhi": samādhi is meditative stabilization, and the obstacle is delusion; 'the obstacle to samādhi' is a genitive compound (tatpuruṣa), unlike 'affliction is the obstacle,' which is an appositional compound (karmadhāraya). However, for these two obstacles, the freedom from each has its cause: because of being free from the obstacle of afflictions, one attains arhatship; because of being free from the obstacle to samādhi, one attains non-contention.
