本寂者，相本自盡不待滅故。《淨名》云：「一切眾生即寂滅相，不復更滅。」
"Primordially quiescent": characteristics are primordially exhausted of themselves and do not wait to be extinguished. The Vimalakīrtinirdeśa states: 'All sentient beings are already the mark of quiescence and extinction; they are not extinguished again.'
