總名布施者。謂：第一即資生施，第二第三即無畏施，四五六度皆名法施。

"Collectively named giving": namely, the first is the giving of material necessities; the second and third are the giving of fearlessness; the fourth, fifth, and sixth pāramitās are all called the giving of the Dharma.
