如語等者。小乘雖有生空之理，非實真如，以是偏真未徹源故，大乘之內具顯三空，空病亦空，是究竟真如法也。

[Regarding] 'words of suchness' and so forth: Although the Hīnayāna has the principle of the emptiness of persons, it is not real tathatā; because it is a one-sided truth and has not penetrated to the source. Within the Mahāyāna, the three emptinesses are fully revealed, and even the sickness of emptiness is empty—this is the ultimate dharma of tathatā.
